is an amateur theater company for children (from 5 years of age) as well as for high-school students. Its members learn drama performance and technique under the supervision of experts in the field. The plays are performed in Czech and English. The company has its own art leader (director) and a language consultant, and takes part in various national as well as foreign festivals. The Domino Theater tries to contact and co-operate with similar drama groups abroad. The members have their weekly meetings (90 minutes) and during their summer holiday they go to a drama summer camp.
offers interactive educational projects employing interdisciplinary approach for kindergarten/primary-school pupils as well as high-school students. The long-term projects focus on co-operation with similar organizations/schools from abroad and lead to creative participation of children from different countries and cultures. The projects are led by qualified instructors, and in the field of English learning/teaching the participants often meet native speakers of English. The long-term projects may also be organized by a foreign school/institution. The projects are usually covered by the media and are presented to the pupils’/students’ parents.
offers individual (highly flexible) and group courses of the English language of all levels. The courses may be the standard as well as specialized ones (exam preparation, document writing, conversation, business English, academic writing, grammar revision etc.). The course(s) can take place at the client’s place or in the DS’s own classrooms. We also offer (sworn) translation and interpretation, language consultations and proofreading in English. Professional level of our services (university degree in the field, study visits abroad, more than 11 years of experience), friendly environment, and regard for the client’s needs are a matter of course.
